Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, is a Nigerian musician and songwriter who was born on March 12, 1994 in Ogun State, where he grew up with his family. He is known as the “Son of Shaku Shaku” and is considered a street problem and wahala musician.
Portable, who is of Yoruba ethnicity, received his primary and secondary education in Ogun State, where he spent most of his childhood with his siblings.
Although he had been in the music industry for a while, Portable gained prominence in December 2021 after Poco Lee introduced him to Olamide, which led to a collaboration on the track “Zazuu Zeh.”
The release of “Zazuu Zeh” in 2021 marked a turning point in Portable’s career, propelling him to fame. He has since been going strong and in early 2022, he signed an endorsement deal with Odogwu bitter company, which is owned by Obi Cubana.
